Our fishing season is getting closer to the end... Beforehand I had in regular use, a half a dozen of two-handed flyrods for which I'd been fully satisfied. Anyway none of those have been in use this season, mainly because of my new CTS's. I think that pretty much says it all...

The quality of the blank is first class. I have been building rods on carbon fibre blanks for 30 years or so and must say my first impression is that your product is superior in quality to others I have used.

I don't own a finer fishing rod than the one I built on your blank.

Where would we be without CTS on New Zealand? They are one of the most important manufacturers of contemporary fiberglass blanks. They supply high end custom tapers to builders all over the world. They also have their own line of fiberglass rods, the Quartz series.
All I have read and heard is true. This is the straightest blank I have ever seen. The power to weight ratio really is unbelievable. Thank you.
This is not so much a fishing rod business, as it is a business for beauty, function and ingenuity.
CTS is a first class operation. I was originally drawn to them for their ability to do concept design/engineering of multi pc. fly rods, especially the longer two handed rods. Their work is always prompt, and flawless...
My AFFINITY X 9' #6 in Golden Olive with smooth green snake ring windings is perfect, now at the near end of 2 season. Mostly I use WF5F Rio Gold flyline, but also sometimes with heavier nymphs or middle streamer an WF6F Lefty Gray. It's unbelievable the immense power in this marvelous, light weight rod. That's my experience with I'll say your FLAG SHIP !!!!!
16 #8-9 Affinity DH. What can I say, this was the firestarter for the whole rod operation, and in a word it's everything I imagined it to be. For example, with Cortland's #10-11 Tricolor Spey there's basically nothing a caster needs to do, the rod casts the 17-meter long head itself, and shoots 20 meter of running line on top of it.
Seamaster Pro 7'10" 24-37kg - the rod is just awesome. We can apply a lot of pressure without fear of the rod breaking. The limit is really how much the line the angler can handle; 30lbs is a lot of pressure on the arms and back. This was a great field test and hopefully we can get back and land some Tuna over 100lbs. We will definitely be getting more of these blanks.

HOLY $H!T !!!!! The affinity X maybe the best rod I’ve ever casted. Not exaggerating one bit. Incredible.
