I purchased the 7ft 1pc Slipstream Quartz in the lightest action to build a fly rod. Though it’s a spinning blank it makes for an excellent 1pc fly rod using a conversion formula (1/16 = 1wt) so a 1/8 to 3/8oz blank makes for a good 2wt-6wt. I built mine as a 4wt to target smaller river and creek fish… I own multiple CTS rods and have never been let down by any of their products. When it comes to CTS customer service, they are nothing short of stellar. Great company, great product and great people.
