Verified ownerThe CrystalCoat material has worked best for me across 10 years fly fishing in the sunlight. The microkit was exactly what I needed to repair thread wrap on guides for a broken section. From the resource guide article there was no information on mix (volume or weight) to judge the amount to use for a whole rod or a repair amount.

The assembly process was efficient and an enjoyable experience.
Everything went very smoothly, except that the epoxy took some time to cure.
I haven’t used it yet since it’s still the off-season, but I’m really looking forward to going fishing.

We bought three kits, the rods are almost finished, and we'll send you photos once we've completed everything.
