CTS products are always superb . . . this rod is a 9’0″ Affinity MX which is simply wonderful to cast. I always like to roll up my own blanks and would comment that the CTS epoxy for coating the wraps blows away what I had been using previously–it takes a little longer to cure (maybe 24-36 hours), but is great to work with and has great durabiliy.

I haven’t built the blank yet but it looks terrific. While I do expect to pay for quality, this one seems a bit pricey. I might change my opinion after I build it. I build for friends at my cost, but I think this will be a bit too much for them, so for now, just for me. Customer service was very helpful.
