Introducing Quartz CrystalGlass with TurboTaper™ (TT). The most technically advanced, fastest glass rods on the planet.
Aptly named the ‘turbo’ because it delivers extra power when needed, the TurboTaper™ is a CTS innovation that speeds up a rod taper, injecting more power in the butt of the rod, while keeping the tip area nice and agile.
Unlike older ‘broom stick’ actions that are typically found in fast powerful rods, the TurboTaper™ brings the power in smoothly, enabling the angler to present an easier, more accurate cast yet have the control and powerful delivery that a stiff base area provides.

Victor Pino (verified owner) –
I build the rod (6wt) with all the premium gear from CTS. Titanium stuff etc. Feels light, and have a soft flex down to the grip. Never used the classic crystal glass rods before, but the turbo taper one is my best friend now. I fished it with a SA amplitude line, and even on windy conditions it casted easily. I fished for stripped bass from shore and was able to get the distance needed, without forcing. I used it for dry fly Atlantic salmon, but didn’t land a fish. I’m confident you could land a 20lb salmon with some work, can’t prove it tho. Still I caught some nice stripped in the waves and it was a pleasure to fight, the rod bend is amazingly fun. It’s also perfect for walleyes, and even small fish can bend it easily. Nice piece of gear, and if order it in fall season you will have it for Christmas (I live in Canada) !
