Our colour range is world renowned.

We weren’t satisfied with all the colours of the rainbow, so we created some of our own. From high gloss Ruby to translucent Shoot on CrystalGlass, we now have over 50 colours and counting.

CTS PROPRIETARY SYSTEM

We developed in-house our own proprietary rod painting system that utilises computer automation to lay a precise coat of paint. Rod blanks are held vertically and rotated whilst a computer controlled fine spray is accurately distributed along each rod section. The system is programmed to accurately paint each rod blank in our catalogue, with precision acceleration and deceleration determined by the the rod blank’s diameter at any point along the rod.

ACCELERATED PAINT CURING

Any day of the year, regardless of humidity or temperature, our proprietary paint system provides a consistent and precise result. How? Accelerated dry times. Our rods are cured in under one hour thanks to our integrated conveyer belt and rod oven system. An anti-static air system and electronic air dryer ensure that dust and other foreign items are excluded from the air. This assures the same flawless result regardless of outside temperature and humidity. And it creates exceptional gloss levels.

LESS PAINT LESS WASTE

There are also certain environmental benefits of the systems and processes we use for painting rod blanks – we have very little wastage or paint loss, and our oven technology allows us to use less solvents while maintaining the highest gloss levels.

We use automative grade paints, so most of our non-translucent finishes include a non-chip base layer, therefore adding an extra layer of protection to your rod.
