It’s unbelievable – 4-8lb affinity float. It may be the best single course fishing rod I have ever used. Wallis casts a phenomenal distance, loads unbelievably, incredible reserves of power yet sensitive and delicate enough for (UK course) species ranging from sub 2lb grayling to 10lb barbel. If there is a better float rod blank on the market I’d be surprised. Service – as always – was exceptional despite delays relating to CV in NZ in manufacture. Bravo CTS, Bravo.

blank arrived in the usual exceptional condition, color is even throughout the blank, with no blemishes or unevenness in the color, I don’t care for the alignment spine marks as much as I don’t spline my rods but they are nice to have, I would like to see with the shipment a guide placement chart and possible guide sizing chart, as a lot of guys on some Facebook rod building pages are always asking guide size and placement I would also like to see some dunnage/bubble wrap in the box with the blank, for overseas shipments
